Chassis

Aluminum Chassis
From Bud, the widest selection of aluminum chassis in the industry: 45 sizes. Each is welded at stress points for assured, maximum strength and rigidity. Sides folded in at bottom for additional support. Optional bottom plate is easily attached. Natural Finish.

Aluminum Panel Chassis
Fastens to mounting rails in racks. Can be used as a vertical chassis where depth is limited or where front service is required. Design Features: .050" thick aluminum alloy. Panel depth 5.28" Finish: Natural Finish.

Chassis Bottom Plates
Fits all chassis sizes. Used to protect wiring or components, or as a dust cover on underside of chassis. Made from .040" thick aluminum. Natural Finish.

Rackmount Chassis
Side Panel mounting holes are punched on .87" grid to allow total flexibility in mounting of components. Rear Panel is fully adjustable from front to rear. Standard 19.00" Front Panels feature "Surface Shield" protection which provides surface for laying out drilling and punching positions.

Small Rackmount Chassis
Five sizes of aluminum rack mount chassis. 1U and 2U versions, in three different depths. Adaptable for slide mounting. Requires two pairs of panel mounting rails when used with slides. Panels are .10" thick aluminum. Chassis are .05" thick aluminum.

Small Rackmount Chassis Cover
Ventilated chassis covers in .05" thick aluminum.

Valuline Series
This Bud series has, for years, been one of the most requested by industry. The reason: it's well styled, it's quality constructed, it's economical and it's versatile. Can be used independently or in a standard EIA 19" cabinet.

Valuline Bails
Bail is attached to specially designed front feet. Necessary hardware including two rear feet is furnished with bail. Bail in retracted position fits into clearance provided by feet.

Plastic Rackmount Box
BUD's Rackmount Boxes were developed to house electronic components in a nonconductive 1-U, 2-U, and 3-U high plastic housing, which is 19" rackmountable to EIA standards. Unique construction allows for easy conversion into a desktop configuration.

Communications Cabinets/Racks

Co-Location Cabinets
- 36" Extra Deep Rack accepts most manufacturers hubs, routers, and switches
- Secure Cable Access ports connect to individually secure Cable Ducts (2 per section)
- Each section has a lockable perforated steel rear door and a lockable ventilated see-through front door

The BUD Communications Distribution Cabinet will fulfill your requirements for orderly and secure signal distribution. It comes completely assembled, ready for use and accepts all of BUD'S standard accessories.

Double Rack (Open Rack)
The BUD Double Rack offers are stronger, more durable, and easy to assemble 4-point mounting system. This is ideal for extra deep and/or heavier servers, hubs, routers, or power supplies.

Extruded Aluminum Boxes
These low cost extruded aluminum enclosures offer an alternative to the standard die cast or fabricated aluminum box. The silver colored finish is offset by the black plastic bezels producing a classic, yet futuristic, appearance to your product. Removable end panels allow for easy and low cost modifications.

Futura Boxes
Straight, 18 gauge steel front vertical panel. One-piece side and top. 20 gauge steel sides, top, base and rear panel. Sides fit into flanges on base.

Miniboxes Portacabs
.040" aluminum alloy. Two sections slip together and may be joined by either built in snap lock or sheet metal screws (included).

Portacabs
.05" aluminum. Front panel recessed .50" and fits contour of cabinet. Louvered sides. Welded back has opening. Four plastic feet furnished. Designed for bench or portable use. Light weight, yet strong. Reinforced flexible metal handle recessed to permit stacking. Carry handle limited to 25 lb. load capacity.

Shadow Cabinets
Tops, sides and bottom, 18 gauge steel. Panels, 16 gauge steel. Front, rear panels and bottom removable. Rubber feet furnished.

Showcase
The design of this Bud unit makes it perfect for your portable instrumentation, yet the versatile, lightweight Showcase will do an effective job as a desktop instrument case, in systems or racks. Compounding its versatility is the fact that the Showcase comes in 10 sizes.

Slimcab
over: .050" aluminum Panels: .120" "Surface Shield" aluminum. Sides vented for cooling. Five sizes available, all 1U (1.75") High. Suitable for desktop or 19" rack mount use with optional brackets.

Bud's Mod-U-Flex packaging system is a uniquely versatile and economical system, which allows you to choose your board and connector type. It accepts Type I, Type II, and Eurocard configurations, in a variety of depths to suit your needs.

Modular Electronic Packaging Systems
The Modular Electronic Packaging System, the industry's most advanced, gives you options. Options to use either circuit boards or a variety of enclosed modules: options to use all of one, or a combination of both, to develop an electronic package. Equally significant, this modular system gives you the flexibility to alter your original circuit board/module arrangement for subsequent applications. The System comes in kit form; all components are fabricated to exacting standards; all are easily assembled; all are in stock.

Econoboxes (Unsealed Aluminum)

Econobox
Bud offers fifteen box sizes, each with a close fitting flanged cover fastened to bosses in the body with screws. This plus the thickness of the #ADC-12 aluminum alloy, offers excellent screening properties. These lightweight, easy to machine enclosures have a number of uses: instrument and meter cases, filter networks, junction bosses, switching and many other applications requiring a small box. In addition, they're ideal for concealed or other interior use where a safety closure is necessary.

NEMA Boxes (Sealed Sheet Metal)

SN Series
- Made from durable 14 ga. steel (0.078" thick).
- Smooth continuous welded seams.
- External mounting brackets allow the box to be mounted on a wall or panel without having to remove the cover and exposing internal components to the environment.
- Hinged cover clamps to the base with stainless steel brackets and steel screws for a watertight seal.
- Weld nuts for inner panel mounting
- Bonding studs for grounding are provided on base and door.
